Decision record
The chosen, deferred or rejected direction and the rationale behind it.
One consequential question, made decision-ready
Bring one material operating question, the people with authority and a bounded evidence pack. Leave with a defensible decision record, owners, risks and next action.
The buyer job
A consequential operating question often arrives with competing versions of the facts, strong opinions and pressure to choose a technology or initiative quickly. A normal workshop can create useful discussion without producing an owned decision.
The Executive Decision Intensive is a bounded decision process. It establishes what must be decided, separates evidence from assumption, works through the trade-offs with the people who hold authority and records exactly what happens next.
The result may be a decision, an explicit deferral for missing evidence or a reasoned rejection. All three can prevent avoidable cost.
The working sequence
Name one consequential question, the sponsor, deadline, participants, authority and definition of a useful decision.
A broad transformation brief is narrowed before the session.Agree the sponsor brief, participant inputs and one bounded evidence pack needed to test the options.
No production credentials or unrestricted company access are required by default.Return verified facts, assumptions, contradictions, options, material risks and missing evidence in decision-ready form.
Confidence and uncertainty stay attached to each claim.Facilitate the executive conversation around consequence, feasibility, ownership and evidence rather than presenting generic advice.
The people needed to decide are in the room.Capture the chosen direction, rejected options, reasons, assumptions, risks, owners, immediate actions and review point.
The sponsor confirms that the readout is accurate. What you leave with
The chosen, deferred or rejected direction and the rationale behind it.
Facts, assumptions, contradictions and material gaps kept visible.
Named immediate actions, decision owners and a dated review point.
A bounded basis for further evidence or Build & Run only when it is justified.
Deliberate exclusions
The Intensive does not include a full Company Operating Blueprint, broad departmental interviews, unrestricted source review, production-system access, integration, automation, custom software, vendor procurement or ongoing advisory.
It does not guarantee savings, revenue, technical feasibility or business movement. If company-specific design or implementation is justified, the scope, evidence, environment, acceptance and commercial commitment are agreed separately through Build & Run.
A good Intensive ends when the decision is useful, even when the right next move is to stop.
Fit and format
One material operating decision with a sponsor, a real deadline, identifiable options and enough bounded evidence to improve the choice. It should not be a request to map or transform the entire company in one session.
The sponsor and the smallest group with the knowledge and authority needed to make or legitimately defer the decision. Exact participation is agreed before booking.
The current fee is confirmed with the format, participant and evidence boundary before booking. This page does not state a testing hypothesis as settled public pricing.
Close with the accepted readout or apply for Build & Run when company-specific design and implementation are justified. No next engagement is automatic.
Bring one real decision
Apply with non-confidential context. Fit, format, evidence and current fee are confirmed by a human before any commitment.
